Only He, knew the plans He'd made for you
Short sighted we had our own wishes
In our minds you'd come back to us

Finally His word became the last
Unfavorable as it might have been
None could supercede His command
Again we had to bow in agreement
No matter how difficult it was for all
In unison we have to accept His call

All we have to do is to hope and pray
Let your spirit ascend to the Father
Even though our hearts are broken
Time for us to let go and accept it all
As He's the way the truth and the light
