I’ll practice til perfect and then I’ll be moving the masses with verses
Can’t lose my passion or purpose when nothing becomes too lavish to purchase
Might as well join the staff of a circus if I’m caught fattening purses
Can’t be tempted by the lines of eager ladies waiting to shine my peter
Just wanna cause delight to readers from the way I play with rhyme and meter
While writing scenes better than you’d find in theater
