Affliction in disguise
The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound;
Of fear knocking on the doors,
Doubts swirling about,
Indignant indifference,
Empathy on a losing streak,
That halfthought unexpressed one would say,
A warm smile she has
In ways that is obnoxious.
As ambiguous as she be pervasive,
She has us not fainted yet tainted.
So long as one breath'd
And she would us make meek'd,
Of bout and brig unintended rage.
For she come not in such wise
As we'd have dreamed;
Affliction in disguise,
One within the other,
Wherein excites curiosity,
The very mystery of her.
