Devotion of love now betrayed
In the wake of a love that's flown away,
A lifeless heart lies decayed
Lovely moments now memories
Late night messages now a warning text
Used to waking up to good morning messages,
But now awake through the perpetual ringing of the alarm.

In quiet moments, the heart ache,
Of lost hope and betrayed love
The fate of rejection,
And submission to loneliness
Eye lids swelled for tears,
Through silence, the heart cry in fear
The love granted and expressed willingly,
But accepted with ingenuity and feeble heart

In the spaces where affection bloomed,
Silence fills the empty room,
With loneliness lingering in doom
Each memories now a ghostly trace,
A phantom touch, a warm embrace

Words full of encouragements
Maybe that can help heal the heart sick of ailments
Trying to be strong after the heartbreak,
But the heart's fainting like a car that lose its break
Goodbye to the ex,
Hello to the next
