O Turtle Island, hear my cry
Thine beauty sacred, Thy wilds rife
Demons of snow showed to and fro
And laid waste to all we know.
Some rekindled and some stood tall
To destroy what we hoped for all.
O Turtle Island in thine embrace
As a descendant of that horrible place
Allow me recompense, so we hope to end this nonsense.
