Rain by Samridhi

During hot summer days,
Water of oceans warm up and the vapours rise above the surface.
Condensed vapours give vaguely formed droplets,
And then descend on earth's face.

Rain originates from the centre of the bottomless sea,
And departs from the sky by falling down.
The journey of its life is from sea to sky and from sky to sea,
It sometimes, falls from dusk to dawn.

It descends to quench the thirst of several species of earth,
And to wash away the dust particles of filthy lands.
It gives the dormant seeds "birth",
And makes earth a clean and green land.
