Think about a time in your life when you couldn’t make a decision, and write a poem based on it.

A time in history,
bowed down before the king,
upon my knees I pray,
crying out for help,
wandering where this road leads,
living life with or without my kids,
decisions stand unaware,
losing self through mental torment,
questioning everything I ever knew,
wishing their was another way,
living a lifestyle that I love,
having them by my side day and night,
asking to remove me from this battered home,
who do I turn to but my creator,
what's best for the little ones,
should I stay with this monster,
leaving what I love behind,
keep on going for the sake of the kids,
should I go so I'm no longer hurting,
what harm will it do to their precious soul,
feeling incomplete regardless of the choice,
struggling barefooted and all alone,
suicidal thoughts take it's course,
giving me no other option,
in the end holding on to abandonment,
scared of letting go,
for what would the future hold,
a diamond in the rough,
soul sent to hell,
life without love,
escape from reality,
releasing the days memories,
so many directions,
leading me in the days events,
left wounded either way I turned.
