With every pardon, our souls take flight,
And the darkness of anger, it fades into light.
The heart, once heavy, now beats with ease,
As forgiveness brings peace, and calms life's disease.

To forgive is to heal, to let go of the pain,
And find solace in love, that remains.
For in forgiveness, we find our own release,
And a heart that's clear, is a heart that can cease.

From the burdens of bitterness, we break free,
And find our true selves, in forgiveness, we see.
A reflection of love, that shines like the sun,
Guiding us forward, to a brighter life, begun.

So let us forgive, and let go of the past,
And find our peace, in love that will forever last.
