I’ve done it again,
I’ve messed up today,
I lost another fight,
But I know there’s a way,
I may keep falling and hitting the ground,
But I know there’s a way out and there’s no one to stop me,
I’m not the same as everyone else,
I am different in so many ways,
But i’ll always rise cuz I know i’m stronger than what people say,
I’m gonna open my eyes and see what’s next so I can see what I can do,
Because I will fight,

And I wont let nobody in so I can do what I must do,
Words bring me down every single time,
Every inch of me is trembling,
Sometimes I feel I will never make it out alive but I always do.
I’m slowly getting there and it feels like I’m home,
But there’s still more struggles that come,
I may have secrets but I know that I don’t have to hide anymore,
I have always been different,
normal rules never really applied to me,
I’m not who they say I am,
I am more than just a individual,
Cuz there is more just like me,
I’ve come so far to find myself in the distance,
And I think I finally found me it’s just kind of hard to see.
There is something new that always comes along the way,
What if I could shine but nobody sees it but me,
What if I could be somebody different,
And show people who I really am,
I wanna shine for one night and show people who I really am,
What if I could do everything people said I could never do,
What if being different is how it’s supposed to be,
I spend so much time thinking about who I’m supposed to be instead of thinking about who I really am,
But to me finding out who I’m supposed to be is a long way from where i’m at right now,
I will stand and I believe that everything I say or do is for a purpose,
Today nothing is what it seems,
Life just kind of happens and comes out to how it’s supposed to be,
But I will figure everything out,
And make sure that it is done right,
I won’t be perfect I never will be all I can say is that I will try,
I will always try,
Because I am gonna shine and be who I really am.
