Agree to disagree
Some days is hard, harder than you could begin to imagine.
I try to listen without saying a word,
but this too upsets you.
Giving advice ,
upsets you.
You says it's because we think differently.
In fact we do.
I'm trying to be there in any way possible.
If listening isn't enough.
Then I know not what to do.
For everything I try to say,
to lead you on the right path,
just "simply " isn't right.
You tell me what you want me to do.
Maybe we could just agree to disagree.
I pray one day you see,
I'm not against you,
I just want what's best for you.
Dream can come true,
and will if you push yourself,
and believe.
We as people have to take on our responsibilities.
While making our dreams come true.
Maybe it's best we agree to disagree.
