HALIMA IN THE CITY
They said,
When Halima went to the city,
She was met by a man,
One night,
Who spoiled her beyond words,
And would do the same for three months,
But never once did he touch her.
"I need a personal assistant (PA),"
He said to her.
"Who would walk with me at all times,
Taking my notes,
Carrying my briefcase,
And booking my appointments"
It wasn't the expensive salary she was given,
Nor the big car this man was driving,
That won her over,
It was his looks,
Calm,
Green,
Warm,
Introvert Spark glowing within the pupils of his eyes.
She said yes.
He too was loyal in his words,
But finally it reached a point he doubted the source of his money,
It was too much,
No ah ah too much.
The next night,
She woke up on a cold bathtub,
How she got there only God knew,
She felt dizzy,
Ice cubes seemed sprawled from her ribs,
Suddenly she felt pain,
Reaching her hands to her rib,
She felt a wound,
Reaching for it,
She dug two inches in without finding any flesh,
And that's when it hit her,
That she had been robbed of her kidney!
As it sunk to her,
That she'd been a victim of organ theft,
She gulped in pain,
And screamed with all her might,
Before passing out on the cold grave.
