Poverty, Discrimination and society
#WritcoPoemPrompt9
A stolen morsel more precious than gold,
A stolen shirt to keep out the cold,
There is no price to hunger,
There is no price to shelter,
There is no price to kindness
There is no price to happiness.

But love comes at a cost,
Because it is always lost,
In the middle of nowhere,
No, it's lurking somewhere,
Deep down the valley of hell,
Where all the good, they sell.

But intimacy is always free,
Be it from anywhere you see,
That is not a crime,
Atleast for this particular time,
Because it will not lead,
To plantation of a love seed.

Poverty is what we have today,
But it is invisible as i say,
There is so much segregation,
In this era of aggregation,
Why so much discrimination,
In this generation?

Anong people, there is no humanity,
Even with so much spirituality,
What will a human find,
After being blind?
Nothing, because he has become numb,
His senses have become dumb.
