My life is an open book,
That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey
The pages tell of when
As a girl I'd been
And since have grown to be
It tells of the where's and
Of the when's
In my life's herstory.
I delicately turn page after page
As some have begun to age
I reminisce of loved ones
Whose time has come and gone
I love them all. I love myself.
I place the open book upon
My beautiful life's shelf.
To read and write again
When entering in
A new journey's end.
