If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,
And I starting anew.

(Clears throat)...

To complain is taboo,
But it's what I must do,
I mean, it seems this issue,
Is worth looking into.

What was small quickly grew,
It took over the news,
Over oceans it flew,
Til it reached me and you.

Now alone in our room,
Out of windows we view,
A changed world in lieu,
Of the great one we knew.

We can try and make do,
You can be a new you,
We can cry and be blue,
We can be in bad moods.

We can all say we knew,
We can think it's not true,
We can listen to all of the
Hullabaloo.

(I know that was totally too Dr. Seuss)

Regardless of who,
Or what we should do,
Don't ever misconstrue,

That our government knew.
