truth
#WritcoPoemPrompt106
Write a poem about truth and if the truth that has been told to us can be trusted.

In shadows deep, where mysteries reside,
Truth's elusive dance, our hearts divide.
Can we, in earnest, trust the tales we hear?
Or does deceit cloud every truth sincere?

With every whispered secret and disguise,
We question what's concealed behind the eyes.
The truth, a fragile gem, in darkness gleams,
Yet oftentimes, it's not quite what it seems.

In words, we seek an anchor for our soul,
A compass pointing towards a trusted goal.
But doubts arise, like ripples in a stream,
As we navigate the waters of the unseen.

Can truth be pure, devoid of artifice?
Or is it tainted by our own avarice?
With open hearts, we strive to find the way,
To know if truths we're told will always stay.

Yet in this quest, we find a subtle grace,
For truth's a mirror, reflecting every face.
In seeking trust, we learn, and we evolve,
Discovering the depth of truths unresolved.

So, let us ponder, as we walk this road,
The truth, a mystery that's often bestowed.
With open minds and hearts that hope and care,
We'll find the truth, and in it, solace share.
