The child, no more than seven,
asks me, " What's your biggest regret grandpa?"
His eyes filled with curiosity.

"I should have spent more time with them" I say, with a deep sigh.
My mind torn to pieces upon remembering the past.

"Where are you going papa? " asked the young girl with sad eyes.

" Work, I will see you in a while ", said the younger me without much pay.
The young girl, pulling her mother's dress, kept on looking as if to say something but didn't.

Said the boy, with sad and longing eyes ,"I wish mother does too, right grandpa? "

Smiling with deep regret, reflecting on my past actions, I caress the boy's hair, thinking if only that was what I could have done.
