The squad of men marched out
with guns escorting felon one,
and stood him there in front of them
behind the rising sun.
As they took aim so dutifully, the man yelled out: 'Earthquake!'
They dropped their guns and scattered fast - for safety there to take.
The second inmate was dragged in place - they tied him to a tree.
He refused the offered blindfold in order for to see.
The riflemen admired him, thinking he was brave,
yet sprinted off to save their skins when he screamed: 'Tidal Wave!'
They hustled out the third of them who had watched the other two.
He faced the group of soldiers - by now a determined crew.
The muskets pointed at him ... his plight seemed pretty dire,
but smirking before the triggers were pulled, he loudly shouted: 'FIRE!'
