It was my heart's one only desire,
To behold the smile of the one I did admire.
My wish was made upon a shooting star
That I suddenly spotted way afar.
The warmth of the night, reflection of a light
Questioned my existence, what a plight!
For there in front of me stood she,
Smiling sweetly - beckoning to me.
Was I so fortunate to have my way?
Oh! Thank you God for making my day.
