A Love Letter
O YOU whom I often and silently come where you are that I may be
with you
As I walk by your side or sit near or on the same table with
you
Little you know the subtle electric fire that for your sake is
playing within me

In the night in solitude tears
On the white shore dripping suck in by the sand
Tears not a star shining all dark and desolate
Moist tears from the eyes of a muffled head

My God how I wish you
Will be here always like
The sun and moon that
Brighten the darkness of a shadow in the dusky night hours covers by a dark roof

Or maybe how your great tune drums pounding whenever we're on a duet
How the drums beat steady whirring
And every blow of the great convulsive drums which
Strikes me through and through

I had this curse
A cruelly curse to be loyal
Wherever
Whenever
Whatever the journey may swing
Through the ups and downs
