What It's Like Being Me
If you want to know what it's like being me, read this poem and you will see.
No one knows what's in my brain or what it's like being suffocated by emotional pain.
Demons in my mind are never kind, hoping one day I can leave them behind.
Knock Knock is anyone there, I just need someone to care.
I don't expect anyone to understand, just to be there to give a hand.
Always suicidal and feeling low, don't know where to go.
Being controlled and held down everyday, always letting the voices have their say.
Hallucinations in my eyes and voices in my head, they are always wanting me dead.
Constant torture from my brain, I will never be the same.
I hope this has made you see, a little bit of what it's like to be me.
