I trusted them
With all my heart.
How dare they betray me?
Why—why am I so naive?

Tch—I clench my teeth in anger,
“Backstabbers!” I shout,
Loud and clear,
Echoing through the empty hallway.

I should have known sooner.
I shouldn’t have listened to them.
Too late—
I’m suffering,
My body shaking like an earthquake,
Violently,
Without a pause.
