I’ve never felt debilitated as i am now
Confined in a collapsing building
I have these bruises and I scream
Expecting to breathe my last
But death is out of sight
So I stay on that spot
Watching everything crash to the ground
The building residue surrounds me
But I can’t find a way out
I put up a fight
But it pushes me down and I’m covered with fright
I’ve given up trying to find the light
So I stand waiting for that one rock
That will finally knock me to the ground
And my strength fails that I am unable to rise again
