Silver lining ahead of me,
passionate about loving thee.

Flirting with eyes I still remember ,
It was in the month of December.

I confronted in the corridor,
Tall and handsome my eyes could not withdraw.

Heart throbbing ,
chilled and freezing,
winter cold I was breathing,
wanted a hug,
My friends were teasing.

Loving silently ,
It was a mystery,
Whether his heart felt the same,
as my heart did,
I was unsure.

My duty was to love him desperately ,
but now I feel I was so foolish,
to chase a shadow ,
that will vanish and lead me into the darkness .

The dreams I had dreamt,
during the day time,
went in vain,
colourful moments that I had decorated and painted within my heart became a stain.

Alas!
One day I knew,
He was with new,
My eyes filled with tears ,
I fell like dew,
Sparkling at first ,
Slowly I flew,
With wind it was lost,
unspoken love betrayed my view,
Still sometimes in pain ,
I look again,
I know now nothing I will gain.

Past is past,
I will have to forget ,
To start a fresh again,
but I am waiting for time to heal my sorrow and pain,
I am breaking into pieces
because of him again and again,
Somebody please help me ,
I will have to reframe .
