I am not above-average
I'm barely average at best
I don't own expensive things
And I haven't done anything extraordinary
In 100 years, I won't be remembered
I won't have my words used in books
I won't have a song to immortalize my voice
I won't have a movie to preserve my looks
And I don't know if I'm going somewhere
If my spirit will linger on
All I could ever hope
Is that the sparks in my soul
Were able to light someone else's
That through my words and actions someone else could find their passion
And in some way I become Greek fire
Impossible to extinguish
Even after I'm forgotten
A myth mixed with truth
