The long dim shadows,
Of surrounding trees,
The hooting sound of an owl,
With enchanting whispers of the breeze,
Besides the deadly silence of the night,
That could distract the mere attention,
Of any person,
Even the thud of the footstep,
Reverberating much louder,
That could reach one's ears much intensified,
Even the rustling of a leaf can knock,
The very soul that is terrified,
Requiring much exertion to step forward,
The dread of the dark being contemplated,
In the very soul that is horrified,
Resonating in the minds of the frightened,
As every minute being ticked by,
With intimidating silence of the dark night!
