A walk on a beach,
Both, on your bare feet,
So close and within reach,
A conversation brief but sweet,
Hearts in turmoil like waves,
Silent walk toward the graves,
Pain inflicted and unspoken fears,
Love shedding dry invisible tears,
Dark winds causing a breach
Drifting both love and heart,
Hopeful, you came for a walk,
So close, yet still out of reach.
