Why do people do bad things? Answer this question by writing a poem.

we're habitual creatures, us humans.
comfortably repetitious.
there is an invisible path we walk
lines we can not see but know not to cross
but every once in a while
we might run our finger just outside those lines
a jolt of excitement
feeling giddy as a mischievous smirk is born
like a drug we crave that excitement
a finger to a hand, a hand to an arm
until some of us cross over the line
and just like a drug the fun loses it's innocence
once completely entangled with the other side
it's hard to come back.
as humans we all have a desire for a bit of bad
but as humans we all have a desire to do good.
it's balance we need
and love.
lots and lots of love.
