Love?
Love, I prithee know that
thou art just like a calm sea,
a fair dawn, and a field enwreathed
with the blessings of the sky.
Thou art perfect for me,
especially when I lay my head
upon thy shoulders.
I recall how thy locks sing the
lullaby of tranquility.
Like the gentle,
soothing breeze that doth
caress the trees,
Thou art the comfort that
doth fill my soul with ease.
Thy love is like a guiding light,
that doth lead me through the night,
And in thy arms,
I find my rest, as if in heaven's
very nest.
