#YearEndEchoes

The year had just begun,
but now this is the end.
I remember the echoes for 2023,
I remember the cheers.
I remember waking up till 12.

This year was a blast,
I learnt so many things,
I learnt that not everything and everyone lasts.

A year to remember,
A year I hope stayed.

New year is a new start,
I hope this one doesn't break our hearts.
Past 3 years have been very different,
Some good, some bad.

I hope 2024 gets as much praise,
I hope 2024 doesn't fail.

I'll remember the 1st of Jan for 2024,
as much I did for 2023,
I'll keep it safe in my heart, stored,
I'll remember it just like 2023's first cold breeze.

I get Deja Vu,
everytime around new year.
Not a year has been bad,
Never we have been sad.
Every difficult time,
we were together.
We all come together on this night,
to specially celebrate the New year.

We always stood up,
hoping the new year would have great things ahead,
We never let ourselves down,
we grew up a bit.

It's amazing to see,
how everyone got some knowledge,
whether it be life skills or socially,
we tried to get ourselves off from the edge.

This year went away in a blink of an eye,
it didn't feel long but it had many cries.
This year, we all gave all our tries,
This year, had many goodbyes.

I pray for you, a year with blessings and love,
A year where you get things you should get,
A year with praise,
a year with granting you wishes for the things you gave,
a year with loved ones, a year with no guilt.

I wish you all an early happy new year,
With no fears.
