Last night we danced the night away
Enthusiastically we sang while our hips sway
we toasted to old friends and new
Your taste on my lips lingers like morning dew

Today you pound my head 'til I want to scream
You drag me down like a horror dream
Nails you drive into my skull sears my sight
To the darkness of my room I take flight

Another day I know you'll whisper
Sweet promises, in my mind will fester
Again we will do all the merriment
My hangover forgotten in a instant
