I Have Sinned
~From "Heart And Strings Collection"~
Out of my own accord
Was I pushed and pampered into this mischief called earth.
Grains of sins I consumed from
And a lie of feelings I confess.
Grief upon grief that I lament of everyday,
But the concept of divine peace
Is not aggregated like the chase of Osama bin Laden.
Don't blame my words
You trusted politics.
Table before me the doings and Acts I shall do
To redeem my soul from eternal banishment.
Read me melodies from Solomon
And let me count my blessings from Numbers
For in his image I was made confesses Genesis
Feed my spirit and mind with Proverbs.
And direct me with Revelations
Let my faith roar like that of Job.
And become useful like Daniel.
In my regrets, I wonder would plucking
The eyes that makes me sin,
Make me worthy?
The impact of true religion
Didn't start from infant.
It was all horse and bull play.
My mind has been sullied by actions unworthy of mentioning
My heart in allies with the "dons" of the Book.
Am I a price jewel with a cum lade to be fought for?
There are days where breaking the rule is a relief
And a fugitive joy it brings.
I speak for no one. For within
Is the inner terrorist.
It's a shame even the blind man's faith
Is stronger than mine.
Should I cut off my limb
That always leap for crime?
And come to accept Oh Mighty!
Would it make me valid?
For such structures could gratify you.
And your creation is perfect in your eyes. But sin...!
My lips have been sozzled
And became a breeding region
For lies and lust. Oh no I can't take these anymore.
Cut them off. But wait, how will I tell my wife I love her without sounding stupid?
My humanness has suffered.
For the intellect of the internet
That has been tangled and left unattached.
Has given the old nick
Tools to deal with men using women. If you know what I mean.
Judas Iscariot should be
Blamed less, for at the site of flesh desire.
Morality becomes a buried hag.
I guess you can't truly know
The followers of Christ.
But am I?
All I can say is I have sinned.
