Where were you God?
#SharedDestinies
I searched you as God,
I searched for you as Lord.
The number of religions were too broad,
Feeling no presence of you, I felt odd.
I looked for you in the temples,
I looked for you in the chapels.
I bathed rivers; I even got baptize,
Were all mythologies spoke lies?
My whole life, I took your name,
Not for any material desire; nor for fame.
But why? Why you never came?
Tell me! Who should I blame?
(AND THEN THEY SAY — ALL RELIGIONS ARE THE SAME...)
I served langar, food for the soul,
In Sikh temples, I made myself whole.
I washed dishes, swept floors with grace,
In selfless service, I found a sacred space.
Why Mahabharat for Draupadi's respect,
But not for those weak —...
