The sound of the stadium's roar,
Resonates with every four,
Down the pitch,
Over the arm,
Cricket has its own charm,
With players full of love and warm.

The spectators eyes glittered,
as the emotions of winning multiplied.
The falling of wickets,
Jostling for the tickets,
Made a special place in heart for cricket.

Posters and banners,
Rockstars and stunners,
Ready to stun,
As if waiting for the right moment to shoot a gun.
The perspiration in six,
Is just worth a fix.
The superover spreads silence,
While everything is worth a glance,
the batsmen run with a chance.

In the end, it's about leadership
and compassion,
For there is always obstruction.
Trophy, medals, cheques and cash,
And the game can be won by a single wash.
