The Dribbler
In the world of hoops, I once aspired,
To be a player, my heart desired.
But the truth revealed, I must confide,
I lacked the skills, couldn't keep up the stride.

My mind, my speed, they didn't align,
With the talents needed on the court to shine.
Though the grace I longed to attain,
I faced the fact, it wasn't my domain.

In the park where kids and mates find fame,
I watch them play, though it's not quite the same.

Their skills and talents, oh, how they shine,
I wonder if someday, that skill can be mine.

Is it just a dream, or can I truly define,
The path to master the game, to make it all mine?

I didn't write a poem to make me a sad boy,
Because I realized I'll also learn this skill, just bring the joy!
