sleep
all it does is
creep

handsomely
upon me
dancing
around my heavy
lids
playing with me
like little
kids
rythmically
organically
falling in and out
the slower the
process
the deeper the
confess
of eternal salvation that i
seek
death displays similarities
to falling
asleep
the stillness
the floating
the deep meditation and penetration of chemicals forcing my eyes shut
closed
darkness
surrender
i placidly stare into my eyelids and see fields of green grassy hills with yellow flowers permeating my entire sight of vision
the sweat that sneaks upon my forhead and nose in this warm cozy position
the noises that whisper so
delicately
in the background of my sleep wake
me
astonishingly
and the comfort of my loving mothers arms and...
