the enemy up to the last man?

the enemy give up on our dear land?
And promise me that you shall
force them plead for the mercy
of your mighty swords?

I know my mother and sister will
want to cry but please tell them not to?
Tell everybody not to cry because
we have died for a good cause?

I know my father will feel lonely
Without me on the battlefield!
Please tell him that his other son
has been training hard and shall
start fulfilling all his missions?

Tell my father that over the years
I have been working on my dream?
Tell him that I wanted to become
a great warlord just like him?
Tell him that I wanted to get old
enough and raise all my children?
And tell him that am sorry
for letting him down?

Please don't forget about my dear wife?
Tell her that I love her so much?
Tell her that I have always
wanted to wed her?
Tell her that am sorry for not
coming back alive?
And tell her to raise our two children
with a solid spirit of Pan-Africanism!
