The Runner’s Reflection
#PausesInLife
In every stride, where strength meets ground,
Dreams rise and fall without a sound,
A rhythm pulses, fierce and clear,
The race unfolds, the end draws near.
Each lap, each turn, they chase the sun,
Fueled by grit, they’re never done,
But even warriors need to pause—
To breathe, reflect, without a cause.
In that stillness, they find their place,
Beyond the thrill, beyond the race,
Success or failure, both the same—
Just markers in a larger game.
A heartbeat held, a breath drawn deep,
A moment’s peace their soul will keep,
Then surge again, with lighter load,
New strength to lift them down the road.
They’re stronger still, unbound, unbound—The path awaits,
And they will run through it
By every pass after valid pause.
