As I stare into the abyss,
It seems like the darkness is never ending ,
And slowly the light in me fades away,
Just when I thought I would be lost ,
As I was loosing my path ,
You came into my life as a light of hope ,
The one I wanted but never thought it existed,
As the love for the hatred ,
As the last chance to change everything ,
I wish I could hold you forever ,
I was afraid to take my steps any further ,
What if I reach the end of the tunnel with you,
Would you fade away or would you stay ,
Between the dilemma,
Choosing to stay or to move on became hard,
In the fear of loosing you I stayed,
In the fear of you running away,
wanted me to move on ,
In the end the fear gets the best of me anyways ,
So I wanted to walk with you till the end,
With your light, the path was clear,
And as I walked pass the darkness,
I promised you and me would stay,
Even when the darkness is gone,
I wanted you and me to stay this way,
Even if the light of sun seems so bright,
Even if the wind is strong enough to blow you out,
I wish we could work things out,
Stay and protect each other for this lifetime.
