Turn every page till you reach the end,
Read every word before you press 'send'.
In my eyes, everything not only has to be right,
but perfect.
That also goes along with my poetry, or anything I do.
I always do the best, I can. I like things, a certain way and I
don't like change. I'm also particular about the small things,
the smallest details, are never missed.
My perfectionism, is driving me insane.
Many times, I set the bar way to high,
that it's not even feasible. I don't know why, I do it.
I know, it pisses me off.
Rarely ever do I, get things completed.
My addition to drugs and stimulants, has just made it worse.
I'll try not to look at my work, and just put it away.
If I don't, I usually always make some correction.
Rarely ever, I'm I satisfied.
I get jealous, when someone else work
is better. Still I'll brag, and
act if I'm unbothered.
That's my motivation, to improve.
I just need to learn, to let things be.
I'll do the same painting or drawing, over and over,
Then quickly, I'll sign it. Putting it away,
without looking at it again. Alot of them, I've thrown away.
I'd gone over so much,
the work was destroyed.
Perfectionism sucks,
I just need to remember, nothing or nobodies perfect.
