I was happy that day
I had just won a battle
They looked at me disappointed
my goals were different
their aims were superior, so they thought

My achievements were failures for them
the battles I won, seemed wars I failed
They kept beating me pushing me
I started shrinking towards inside

now they ask where am I
now they wonder why have I changed
now they don't like me
now they complain why did I fade

I will rise from these ashes
their loss will be my gain
I won't suffer anymore
I vehemently refuse to feel this pain

I will fly high and away
to skies and lands far and further
my horizons are beyond their limits
my destiny is beyond their gimmicks

I will be at peace
I will be content
I will be happy
I will be free...
