The flame shone and quivered in the darkness,
Never illuminated bright enough for people to notice.
I glanced into the reflection;
Unable to recognise the lonesome, silhouette that didn’t shine in the sun,
That didn’t shine in the dark either.
She never wept in this monstrosity of a world,
Nor did she shine drastically like the others,
What is this world?
