Rawness of Newness
The sun is shining bright,
Like a big yellow lemon in the translucent sky,
The birds are chirping at a height,
As if trying to sing to their new young borns,
The fog has ensanguined the sky reaching buildings which is also a fright,
As if indicating the rawness of the daylight,
The wind blows across my sheltered body airtight,
Making my brain send a shiver convulsively,
The water is running out of taps in a flight,
Key to stipulate the start of household chores,
Here I wake up when the sunrays are travelling across the curtains and kissing my eyesight,
Making a move I get up from the bed and start my new insights holding a cup of tea.
