At night when I lay in bed,
As I drift towards my sleep,
When the eve becomes shadowy red,
My slumber has begun deep,
I make a resolve to travel far, Away from this world,
And it's hurts.
I close my eyes,
And think of the realm beyond, Full of flowers, With scent lovely, Beauty and happiness prevailing.
And happy children,
Lively.
I smile and I turn.
With wild red hair,
On soft silk pillows,
The satisfaction I feel,
Intrigues.
Peace,so still.
At least,
In my sleep.
