Night Wanderer
#WritcoPoemPrompt37
In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams,
Hoping that the whisperings begone,
And never fall asleep at the claws of dawn,
In the quietest part of the night,
where trees at bark, where you lost your sight,
Commence on whispering my name,
And you'll see an unending pain,
Visit me if you may,
Bring me a cup of coffee,
For I am shivering in colds,
Freezing and barely breathing.
Do as what you told,
So you'll see what future holds.
