Echoes of absence sets my heart ablaze,
I am not lying to you, they used to be here, this is the place.
The chairs are physically vacant but still echoing the words,
And also the laughter that once resounded in these four walls.
The chairs remain silent, a quiet row,
Yet in their stillness, voices still echo,
No feet left to cause a shuffle, no hands to hit the desks or even to clap,
But...
