An Overthinker's Feelings
Emotions, they drive me wild,
But expressing them, I feel defiled,
Fear and laziness hold me back,
From sharing my feelings, thus repeating the same track.
"Love" and "Like-like," I never thought,
I'd encounter them, my heart distraught.
Others reciprocated, but not with that special one,
my love live tangled, a messy conundrum.
I blame myselve for this chaotic mess,
Longing for their friendship, I confess.
I yearn to leave, to escape this place,
Yet the thought of never seeing them, I can't embrace.
Does he ever think of me, does he even care?
Or has he wondered where I am, perhaps somewhere?
We're only human, what can we do?
But why didn't he see the signs, too?
Different tastes or not their type,
Thankfully I wasn't head over heels,...
