It was like a dream
just like a scene in a film
unfolding before my very eyes
plunged in a world of no sun
a world where the sky was red
a world of no winter or summer
no week ends,a day with no break
then I heard a muffled sound
from a window nearby
I saw the silhouette reflection,of a family huddled together
so I beckoned come out!
what are you afraid of ?
and then I saw their faces
bereft of joy,rather filled with fear
what could they be afraid of
and then I looked down to a sickly pale face clinging to my dress
I shrieked and turning to bolt
before me was a sight
that will forever hunt me
dead bodies littered every corner
sick people everywhere
then i turned to a crowd
filled with human skeleton
they're eyes sunken, and a nutrient denied body
but then I said it's just a dream!
a really bad dream
I turned to flee,and was spiralled into my room .
never had i been so happy to wake up in my life
galloped straight to the TV room
and behold my worst nightmare
my dream was real
a deadly disease was on the move
I keeled over and I threw up
before my very eyes was a scene from a movie
but this time it was real
people dying in torrents
living everday in fear
is it what I think it is.
is this a global Wipeout?
is it the end?
my wobbly legs couldn't hold me no more
i fell in a heap and cried
silently hoping for a tiny shimmer,
a hope for mankind's existence.
