A letter for summer
The wolf starves for a day more.

But the smell of summer flowers lingers yet. Lingers like the sunshine, atop the snow.

And the castle on the mountain stays empty. The king's queen long gone.
The smoke's been blown away. The stray cat has no home.

If you fall too hard you may get hurt.
In the fall, the sunflowers wilt. The summer days are gone.

The light lingers for a while, but soon the night falls.
And it would hurt so much more, if you thought it would last.

The good days are fleeting, the silver sky deepens.
Oh how the heart aches, for the summer love to keep.

But alas, like a may fly, it's in its fate to fade by the morrow.
And the soul mourns heavy with sorrow.
