Am by the side of the river
Looking at my reflection like a mirror
Reminiscing how we swam in this river
Thinking of how it was hard to deliver
Our broken hearts that failed to recover
Am by the side of the river
By the stone we sat together
As we cuddled up for warmth to gather
And we talked out loud with laughter
Not thinking of anything else buh each other
Am by the side of the river
And I just slid in by my tears
Coz its too painful to bear
Am now drawning in this same river
Where we left our memories here😢
