While sipping the coffee
His eyes met with mine
Nothing was spoken but
Still his eyes got shine
We paid our fare and
got departed to our ways
But he was known stranger
To the heart of mine..

While engrossed in files
My mind raced thousand race per miles
I took off my clip to spread
My ruffled hairs on my face
With a smile I took a sip of coffee
And got tangled in his eyes
With full of beautiful maze
He broken the eye contact
And dived into his book
But his smile made me to gaze
But he was a known stranger
To the heart of mine....

With bundle of files in hand
And bags in another
I tripped on something
But two strong arms
came with a flash towards me to gather
It was that familiar face
Who took my peace and
Led my heart to skip it's pace
But he was a known stranger
To the heart of mine....

I was still amazed with those
Almond orbs
I was still mesmerized with that
Beautiful smile
Still sipping coffee with peace in heart
And clasping my hands with his
But he's not in front
Beside me not for a while
For lifetime

But he is a known stranger
To the heart of mine....
